Tracking is a feature that many professionals want, especially in sales. The answer is nuanced but useful.
Can You Track Individual Taps?
Not directly through the NFC chip itself. The chip is a passive device that transmits a URL. It does not record or report tap events.
What You Can Track Through Your Landing Page
If your NFC card links to a Linktree profile or custom landing page, you can track visits to that page using standard web analytics. Linktree Pro offers built-in analytics showing total profile views and which link gets the most clicks.
What Successful Users Do
Track your Linktree traffic monthly. Note spikes after networking events. This gives you a sense of how much engagement your card is generating overall, even without tap-level granularity.
